Frequently Asked Questions
What is paediatric physiotherapy?
Paediatric physiotherapy is a branch of physiotherapy which services people from birth to 18 years of age. We work on gross motor skills (rolling, sitting, crawling, walking, jumping, throwing, etc), strength building, stretching/ range of motion, and balance/ coordination. We can help kiddos who have suffered an injury such a sprained ankle or a concussion to heal properly. We can screen kiddos for gross motor delays (not meeting their milestones), kindergarten readiness and educate parents who are worried about their kiddos potentially falling behind and give them some useful resources.
